Jeff Capps newest worship offering SHINE is stellar. This young guy has all the tools to be one of the next big timers in his industry. This fusion of pop rock into corporate worship has been slowly coming for years and makes it so much more enjoyable to listen to monday through saturday .... oh and whover came up with that cover is just plain awesome ;)

She's Spanish, I'm American is an EP combining the vocal and musical talents of Josh Rouse and Paz Suay. Unfortunately this was all the two ever released together which is sad... because its rad.

And last but certainly not least... John Mayer Live in Los Angeles. Finally someone besides Mute Math that truly deserves to release a live album. As for this one its chalked full of hits from every album and unlike his live show in dallas (big thanks to my buddy egan for that one) it appears he kept his shirt ON for this show. oh yeah, and in case you're wondering... I could listen to track three on repeat for days.

So here's the deal. I've lived in Texas for most of my life. But.... I've always lived in the big cities... Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth (you know, the ones you've heard of) Well... my new friend Lauren is the opposite. Born in raised in a teeny tiny texas town with neighboring cities like Tool and Gun Barrel City, Lauren is the real deal. So a few weeks ago we headed a couple of hours down the road to her parents lake house for one heck of a bridal shoot in the 100° mid-day sun... in the middle of July. Brilliant, I know! Feel free to leave your thoughts!!!

One from Texas... one from Germany... this amazing couple has lasted nearly a decade without living in the same country much less the same city. Lauren met Tim when he was an exchange student as a freshman in high school and this weekend, over 8 years later they will be saying their vows in Houston before heading back to Germany to start their lives... finally, together.
